Hi!

We have an issue where APs are sending requests for image files to our sccm server. The APs are located on the same subnet as clients using PXE-boot.

Why would the AP request these files and how do I prevent this ?

What are the DHCP scope options for this network?

Also I forgot to mention, we have dhcp-options for airwave discovery for the IAPs .

And also it did work before. The issue started when they added ip-helper pointing to the SCCM-server directly (not only to the dhcp-server)

Would need to do a packet capture to confirm, but I suspect there is something misconfigured with the Windows DHCP service such that it is returning the bootfile options to the APs incorrectly rather than filtering those from the response.

yeah, that sounds probable actually. Will see if we can just adjust some filter or do a packetcapture. Thanks.

I talked to my colleague and it has turned out to be a server issue all along. He reinstalled som SCCM services and after that it no longer has these issues.

I think you were right, the server was replying to clients it shouldn't have.
