    Hello,

     

    so I wanted to enable tri-radio mode on my AP-555. Well that should be easily done:

     

    (Aruba)# split-5ghz-mode enabled
    (Aruba)# config
    We now support CLI commit model, please type "commit apply" for configuration to take effect.
    (Aruba) (config) # split-5ghz-mode enabled
    (Aruba) (config) # exit
    (Aruba)# show ap-env

    Antenna Type:Internal
    Need USB field:Yes
    (Aruba)
    wifi0_arm_channel:36E
    wifi0_arm_power_10x:18.0
    wifi1_arm_channel:11
    wifi1_arm_power_10x:10.0
    usb-port-disable:1
    lacp_mode:enable
    uap_controller_less:1
    split_5ghz_mode:enabled
    commit apply
    committing configuration...
    configuration committed.

     

    When I set frequencies and fill dBm settings, hit save, it tells me:

    "This command can only be used when Dual 5G or Split 5G enabled This command can only be used when Dual 5G or Split 5G enabled This setting is only supported when split-5ghz-mode enabled"

     

    It seems I´m missing something, but I really cannot find anything else to activate. Does anyone know more?

    How are you powering that access point?

    I use the 802.3bt injector, but also tried dual 802.3at. Unfortunately this doesn´t help. Reboot doesn´t help.

    After you execute "split-5ghz-mode enabled", please also execute "split-5ghz-mode"

     

    Also, execute "show ap debug system-status | include Power" to see how that access point thinks it is being powered.
