Can not ping controller IP

    Dear all friends and experts.,

     

    I have a topology as below :

    [Controller 01----Trunking----[Core Switches]

     

    - Interface VLAN  X is up on the controller 

    - A laptop has IP in Vlan X, and the laptop can not ping controller 

     

    Can you take time to help me ?, how I can ping the controller?, . Thank you so much !

    What is your interface configuration on the controller and switch? Do these match? Do you see an ARP entry for either end? What is the default gateway for the client and controller?
