Can you use 1 x IAP-225 as a controller for 3xAP-225s (standard campus APs)?

    We need to deploy a little office WLAN and someone accidentally bought 3 x AP-225s without a controller.

     

    Rather than buy a controller, can we just buy an IAP-225 and use the 1 x IAP-225 as a controller for the other 3xIAP-225s?

    No. Campus APs (no I designation) need a mobility controller .

    Can you suggest a cheap and basic controller to simply manage these 3 x AP-225s?

    7005 would be your best bet. The IAP-225 can be converted to a controller AP.
