    Hello,

I have 11 IAP-103's in my corporate network, running version 6.4.2.0-4.1.1.1_46936.

I've tried everything I can think of to get Chromecast to connect to my network, to no avail.

I'm allowing all traffic and have the Broadcast Filteriing option set to ALL.

We've upgrade the Chromecast firmware to the lastest as well.

What do I have to do to get this to work? I'd find it hard to believe that Chromecast isn't compatible with Aruba Instant.

    Thank you

It won't connect at all or you can't complete the setup?

Going through the initial set up process, it's able to see my wifi network and I get to the point of entering the SSID/Password (using WPA-2 Personal), click continue and it spins for about a minute before failing to connect

Thank you for your reply Tim. Any idea what the issue could be?

Do you have AirGroup Enabled ?

If you do try disabling it

I'm pretty sure it's not enabled. I've attached a screenshot of my current Airgroup settings

    HI Tim & Victor,

    Do my settings look correct?

Reading this post, it appears an updatet to 6.4 was the fix.

    http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Unified-Wired-Wireless-Access/Chromecast-Firewall-Settings/td-p/125637/page/2

I'm on 6.4.2.0-4.1.1.1_46936, but still no luck.

    Thanks for your help

To anyone reading this post; THIS IS THE FIX

    1. Ensure you've factory reset the Chromecast device

    2. In the Aruba GUI, go to More-->Services

    3. Under the Airgroup tab, check the Enable DLNA box

    4. Under AirGroup Service, enable the following:

    -googlecast

    -DIAL

    -DLNA Media

Everything else in this section remains unchecked/disabled

    5. Go through the initial Chromecast setup process.

Done. My Chromecast is now able to join my corporate wirless network

    Hi,

I am trying to do this for the current version of the central.arubanetworks.com.

I cannot see any optons for the DLNA settings etc.

i am able to connect the IAP205 devices if i use an open Access Point. but not with a WPA2 password.

    Any ideas?

What is your problem? Are you using Aruba Central or just Instant?

Hi! I had the same problem and I tried the solution suggested here. Now chromecast works from my computer, but not from the others computers and phones (trying to set it up at my workplace). What can I do to fix this? Is it still an access point problem or something else?

    Thanks
