Hi.
Recently my company, bought two MELE S3 (ezcast/miracast/dlna) to connect in the proyector and in the Philips Display, this device is connected at our Wifi. ArubaOS (MODEL: 225), Version 6.4.2.6-4.1.1.8
My problem is, I have 4 Access points, and one Networks. only in one acces point, the device works with the Windows 8.1 computer and connect with the device, like second display.
When I tried the same in the same network in other floor, different Access points, I can't connect, I can't add to windows 8.1 the device.
I don't know if I need any update, open any port in the Acces Point, I have allow all the service in the access point.
Any people could help me?

Hello cappalli, thank you for your email.
Sorry. What kind of connnection do this kind of device, DLNA?
Please check this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlQXx53Msro&nohtml5=False
I tried the same configuration in my network, I have two situations or two differnt scenarios.
1.- All the TIME the MELE S3 device is connected to my network through the ARUBA 2°FLOOR, and my laptop connected to the same network, same AP and same ssid of the network, I can configure the second display in windows 8.1 and I can add the device to my windows no problem and proyect, "RUNNING GOOD". LIKE THE VIDEO.
2.- The MELE S3 device is connected to my network through the ARUBA 3° FLOOR, AND MY LAPTOP CONNECTED to the same network, same AP and same SSID of the network, .... PROBLEM: I CAN'T CONFIGURE the second display, I can't add, check this video please. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5sVlHz2qp4&nohtml5=False
in the PHILIPS LCD DISPLAY you can see, waiting to connect and finally in windows 8.1 received and error.
I don't know where is the problem. I need light.

DLNA uses the wireless network.
Miracast forms a direct connection between the client and dongle.

Hello.
I think is DLNA, sorry.
We tried with other AP, normal basic AP, and we could connect and the Wireless ezcast device, connect.
I'm not sure, what is the service, the ARUBA ap is blocking, because the DLNA service is activated. and other device like apple tv, work in the network.
When we activated the DLNA service, now we can connect with any computer from the network, ¿what mean this number? is a port.
Sorry, but I'v never work with this kind of device.

same experience, i can project on the TV when we are in
1. same AP, same SSID
2. Same AP, different SSID
but, if we cant connect to
1. different AP, but same SSID
question is it is possible to connect to a miracast TV server in different AP's, or this will only work when you are on the same AP ragardless on SSID/networks.

It should work with a different AP.

Finally, the problem was with the firmware of the AP and the AP configuration, the Support didn't configure the share options, for multimeda, APPLE, ETC..
