I doubt this is possible but I thought I might ask some of you on here. I have a (2) IAP cluster at home whose primary internet connection just died (Comcast was overwhelmed by the Boston snow). I also have a small mifi hotspot from AT&T which is currently working for access. Does anyone know if it might be possible to somehow reconfigure the IAP cluster to work as a repeater or bridge for the AT&T hotspot?

I believe this would be possible at least on a consumer router.

    Any insights would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

Sure, use the WiFi uplink option under System - Advanced Options - Uplink. I don't recall what version of InstantOS that was added in, but if you're on a more recent version it should be in there.

    Hi,

It is possible. you can configure the WiFI uplink or 3g/4g uplink as shown bellow.

Please feel free for any further query on this.

How do the IAPs check internet connectivity? Is it by pinging the gateway?

My internet is hard down but my router is up and the VC is suggesting that the internet is "reachable".
