Confusion on IAP firmware releases

I'm curious about some recent firmware releases. I'm running an IAP225 and an IAP115 in a (2) AP cluster. Both are currently on v4.1.1.3.

The most recent firmware posting in this thread is 4.1.1.1 dated from 11/10/14. Yet I also see 4.1.1.5 and 4.1.2.1 available for download?

Can anyone explain why I wouldn't want to upgrade to 4.1.2.1, with it being the latest?

Additionally, can anyone offer any insight as to why this forum hasn't been updated with the latest firmware or is 4.1.1.1 presently recommended?

    Thanks!

    -Ryan

The support site is the best place to look for new releases.

4.1 is currently ED which is why it hasn't shown up in the Instant UI.

If you ever have any concerns about upgrading, please open a TAC case.

    4.1.1.3 addresses some stability issues.

    I have to add this:

4.1.2.1 is the latest recommended release for IAP customers who are using Aruba Central, but not for other customers because there is no matching AirWave version.

4.1.1.5 is the latest recommended release for IAP customers who are not using Aruba Central.
