Constant random wifi drops with IAP-205s

    I am supporting an office with 6 IAP-205s and we have a random set of users that are disconncted from the wifi several times a day.  It happened to me and the Windows event logs show "Failure Reason:Security failed."  The users are on Windows laptops, iPhones, iPads mostly, but we haven't limited it to just those users.  On the other hand a user that used to have constant issues had no issues while others report this problem.

     

    We are using a Windows Radius server and WPA2-Enterprise on in the instants.

     

    Any tips on how to get more insight on what that means and how to fix it?

    Are you running version 4.1.1.2 ?

    We are currently running 4.1.1.0, specifically: 6.4.2.0-4.1.1.0_45444.

     

    Should we upgrade?

    You should consider upgrading to 4.1.1.3 there's been a lot bug fixes added

    After running for a week with the upgraded firmware all of the connectivity issues appear to have disapeared.  Thanks for your advice!
