    i have a Aruba 3600 controller with 172.16.0.0 vlan [vlan 1].[dhcp enabled]

Now i am implement another vlan [vlan 2] of 172.17.0.0 network assigned in port  3. [dhcp enabled]

now when i plug a ap in port 3 [vlan 2] its getting ip of 172.17.0.0 network and identify is master as 172.168.0.254. but controller cant show the ap.

    vlan 1 = dhcp 172.16.0.0 network.

    vlan 2 = dhcp 172.17.0.0 network.

please tell me now what i have do.

how can this ap broadcast ssid?

    thanks in advance.

Change the IP address of your master :

    interface vlan 1

    no ip address

    ip address dhcp-client

and then do controller-ip vlan 1

And in your AP System-Profile to IP it picked.

I suggest to use a static IP for your controller instead.

look my controller already have a static ip which is 172.16.0.254.

ap can recognise it as a master. But the problem is controller cant recognise the ap.

    Ap on different vlan [vlan2 = 172.17.0.0]

    controller on different vlan [vlan1=172.16.0.0]

in vlan 2 dhcp [172.17.0.0] working fine, it gives dynamic ip to ap.

Do you have CPSec enabled ? show control-plane-security

Have you installed licenses ? show ap license-usage
