Convert IAP to Campus AP

  • 1.  Convert IAP to Campus AP

    Currently using 15 iAP-315 ans I'm managing them all by Airwave. I want to convert  to campus AP but when i want to do so and connect to VC ==> Maintenance ==> Convert, there is no such option. Can I convert them using Airwave?  What are the other possibilities?

    I would think the easiest way is to change Airwave into read-only management mode. Then in a few minutes the Instant cluster will regain local management and you can convert the APs to campus mode via the local WebUI.

    In Airwave, navigate to the Virtual Controller for the swarm you want to manage from the GUI and check the "Monitor Only" box:

    And save your change. After the iAP checks in, the GUI will update to allow you to make configuration changes.
