    Hello

I'm have a silly problem with 2 IPA's, I have deleted them via Network monitoring- Network overview -Ap's.

What is left now is to unassign them so they wont check in to central again, but I cant seem to figure out how.

    Please advice.

How to remove license( to unmanage IAP)
Under Maintenance > Device Provisioning > Manage Licenses and Search for the device(s) in question and unassign the license

    How to delete:

Thank you for the reply Victor.

The problem is that I can't fint that option under Maintenance at all, I'm lost so to speak :)

Is it just bad luck or am I looking at the wrong place ?

So the solution is :  #drumroll

Global settings -> Subscription assignment -> Select Devices

Untick the Ap's that dont need license anymore and select save

    Hello Hawk

Yes it will change back to locally managed after that, well mine did atleast.

If not, try and run a reset.

    Hello,

Where do I untick if I want to remoe this AP? I am not using Activate. I deleted it in Maintenace and factory resetted the IAP and it still keeps reconnecting.

Just to be clear on why I want to remove the IAP:

I used this IAP for an Aruba Central Demo, and since I finished the demo, I want to completely remove it from Central and use it as a standalone Instant AP for a different demi, but it keeps reconnecting to central

    Steps I tried:

I removed the licence from the IAP in Subscription Assignment.

Deleted the down IAP in the Monitoring section.

    I factory resetted the IAP.

And when I plug it back in, it reconnects to Central.

    Any thoughts? :)
