Could you please tell me someone the difference between the instant APs and the normal?

For example the 305 AP has two models. instant and non instant.

    Thanks,

    Kostas

An Instant can function as a controller-less AP (i.e a Virtual Controller that resides on the AP) or terminated on a physical or Virtual Controller (that resides in a VM environment) if converted.

A "standard" AP will only terminate on a physical or Virtual Controller (that resides in a VM environment) and cannot be converted to an Instant.

A unified AP is the new standard moving forwards where both APs can act in either Instant or regular.

Thanks for your reply. And a final question please:

What is the role and the difference between:

Aruba Central DM 1 Token 3y Sub E-STU

Aruba Central Svc 1 Token 3y Sub E-STU

One is a device management license (DM) and the other is a services license
(svc) eg for Guest, Clarity or Analytics etc.

    So, to understand better:

For every device I buy, it's necessary to add in my cart a licence for device management and a licence for services. right?

You'll need a DM for every IAP or Switch you with to manage at a minimum. For any additional services you will need a services license.
