With Instant is there a way to send notifications of a down AP?

Do you have AirWave or Central?

    Thanks,

Unforuntlry not - trying to see if it can be done natively in the IAP cluster

You can configure syslog or snmp to send traps or syslog to a network monitoring device.  Please see the MIB/Syslog guide for Instant here:  https://support.arubanetworks.com/Documentation/tabid/77/DMXModule/512/Default.aspx?EntryId=18345

Unfortunately you would need to do it from a third-party NMS, AirWave or Central.

    Thanks,
    Tim

Thanks for the replies everyone!  - I am aware of the syslog and SNMP solutions and this is what I suggested to this particular customer - they do not have any of these soultions currently available. Just making sure I wasn't missing some capabilities for this to be done natively on the IAP Cluster. More sales oppportunities :)

What trap is sent out to the NMS by the IAP, when one of the AP in the cluster went down?

    Please advise.
