Dropped Whatsapp calls and AP disconnects - how to diagnose?

We have 2 sites with IAP 225s and another with IAP 215s. On both sites with relatively no fine tuning we have the following symptoms:
1. whatsapp calls are dropped on hand off from one AP to the other
1a. We have only fiddled with Mix Max Tx Power but symptoms still exist, does the handoff relate mainly to the client adapters implementation (a legacy issue perhaps?) or can it be improved with IAPs parameters
2. desktop/laptop clients with B/G/N adapters get disconnected from the APs and reconnect after a few seconds or not at all
2a. We have enabled the Legacy Only parameter and it seems to have helped

It's best if you could open up a support case and have them take a look. There are many variables in wireless and rather than "shots in the dark" or other trials and errors, let's have our guys take a look and make some educated remarks and suggestions.
