    Hi Guys,

     

    Does anybody know if Aruba Instant supports EAP-SIM as an 802.1x Authentication Framework?

    Yes it does, as EAP is transparent for the authentication method used inside. You need to have a RADIUS server that binds into the SIM provider HLR to access the SIM data/keys.

     

    BTW EAP-SIM is used in GSM/second generation networks, where starting 3G it is replaced by EAP-AKA.
