Hello,
It took me a long time to diagnose but I eventually found that enabling DLNA Services on my two 320 IAPs for my small network was causing a major problem. Our main router experiences packet loss when we enable DLNA, the main switch seems overloaded and several network services stop functioning properly. While not required, I am interested in figuring out which client is causing the problem and why it has such a great effect on the network. I assumed it was a broadcast storm of some sort, but my analysis hasn't shown anything significant in my tests. I have no idea what's causing the problem, but am interested in ideas.
Thanks in advance.
Mike
