I heard that starting with IAP version 6.4.2.3-4.1.1.3 we would see support for Facebook Wi-Fi.  I have this running on an IAP-225 but I do not see anything in the UI to configure this and nothing in the release notes.  I have a smaller customer with about (5) IAP-215 who want to use this feature.

    Thanks

The option for Facebook Wi-Fi appears on our IAP-103s.  When enabled however it was very problematic: users complained of frequent disconnects, reauths were required more frequently than the specified timeout on Facebook, and users could still connect to HTTPS sites without "checking in" on the Facebook Wi-Fi splash page.

It does actually work!  But badly, as aformentioned.  It'd be nice if Aruba didn't provide an option to utilize a "beta" feature.

Can you check if you are already running 4.1.1.3?  If you are and you are still experiencing facebook WiFi issues, please contact Aruba TAC to open a ticket and we will debug for you.

    Thanks,

    Yan

If you can explain how you got it to work that would be great.  To be clear this is not Facebook guest authentication this is to force a user to either like or check in to the locations face book page to grant wifi access.  I do not see any documentation on this specific feature.
