    Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie at WLC and I'm currently using SNMP on WLC to get the port number and mac-address-table from switch to determine which AP clients are connected to, although i found this doesn't run smoothly at times and the results are not so correct. I'm wondering if there's any alternative way to do this.

    Thanks in advance guys.

    Son.

    Hi,

Are you using any third party SNMP tool to pull the clients connected info from controller?

Have you uploaded Aruba MIB files to tool and may i know what OID you are using ?

    Regards

    Pavan

    Hi PAVAN,

Sorry for the late reply, i'm currently using the SNMP OID

1.3.6.1.2.1.17.4.3.1.1 to get the MAC address and

1.3.6.1.2.1.17.4.3.1.2 to get the port, not any third party tool.

and my controller is running on Ubuntu 14.04

    Thank you for your time.

    Best regards,

    Son
