    Hello Guys,

I am having issues brining up a RAP. I have done the following things on the controller:

1- Created the RAP AP profile

    2- Created the AP Group

    3- Assigned the SSID

4- configure the NAT rule on the FW and allowed port UDP 4500 and TFTP 69

I think is caused because IAP to RAP conversion does not go through properly but I might be worng. When I convert the IAP to RAP..I dont get any sort of confirmation that its convereted to RAP. See the picture attached for detail. Once I get this error, I am not able to access the RAP through GUI and I am not sure whether the conversion was successful or not. I have tried connecitng my home router connection to the port 0 and then port 1 to my laptop but my laptop is getting APIPA address.

Any help will be apprecited. Thanks

Have you added the RAP to the controller RAP whitelist?

    Hi Cappalli,

Thanks for prompt reply. Yes, I have added the RAP in the whitelist as well on the controller but no joy.

    Supermo121,

    Do this:

    on the controller:

    config t

config tlogging level debugging security subcat ike
logging level debugging security process aaa
logging level debugging security process authmgr
logging level debugging security subcat l2tp
logging level debugging security subcat vpn

Try to convert the RAP.  When it fails, type "show log security 50" and paste in that log here as a response.
