    Hello All,

I deleted the Instant Provisioning Network on an IAP after creating my Wireless SSID/Networks.

Now, we did a factory-reset on the IAP and unfortunately, I can't do any provisioning (don't see the "Instant" SSID being broadcasted) or be able to perform any configuration whatsoever. The "Settings" link doesn't work at all.

I know the process to disable the Provisioning Network is below:

In the apboot mode, use the following commands to disable the provisioning network:

    apboot> factory_reset
    apboot> setenv disable_prov_ssid 1

    apboot> saveenv
    apboot> reset

Now how do I enable it back?

    Will a "setenv disable_prov_ssid 0" work???

Have you tried using the purge > save >boot ?

    Try the following :

    That didn't work.

    This is so strange.

Did you tried the second link I provided?

    Using the reset button

    Yes I did.

Like it comes up with an IP Address. I can connect to the GUI.

But the "Settings" link doesn't work at all.

Have you tried another browser or clearing the cookies/cache ?

    Just thought about doing that.

    Will keep you posted.

It seems the factory-reset and purge commands obviously did it's work.

It seems however, that as long as that IAP is connected to the Network, and it communicates with it's Virtual Controller, it fetches it's configuration from it. And this "fetched" configuration, does not have the Instant Provisioning Network available.

That's correct , if you have have auto join enabled on the VC. The IAP will join the cluster and get its config again

So to resolve this issue, especially in scenario like mine where you can't even access the VC anymore.

Just power down all IAPs. Then factory-reset one, configure it accordingly and connect to the Network.

Then power up the other IAPs one at a time.
