Can I add 9 IAP 305's to an existing 7 IAP 105 CLuster? Thanks.

Unfortunately you cannot, because support for IAP-105s was ended with 4.3.0.0:

The minimum version of software for the IAP-305 is 4.3.1.0

You could add a controller and convert the IAP-105s to AP-105.

AP-105 is still supported on the most recent AOS version, so it can coexist with AP-305 in a controller-based deployment..

Thanks for the info guys, I really appreciate your help, I'd love to get a controller etc but money is a too tight, would IAP 205's be compatible?

    Yes, 205s are compatible.

Min versions for 205 is 4.1.1.0

Last supported version for 105 is 4.2

Just be aware that end-of-sale of the IAP-205 has been annouced (effective 5/1/2018).
