Controllerless Networks

Hi guys,

I’m having an issue to upgrade wifi network formed by 03 IAP-215  from current version 6.4.2.3-4.1.2.1_49445 to last version 6.4.2.6-4.1.1.11_52666.

I’ve tried via web interface under Maintenance menu and also downloaded the file and send it manually selecting it from my HD. The system message indicates upgrade was successfully but after the reboot it still shows wrong on previous version.

Please, is there something wrong on last version 6.4.2.6-4.1.1.11_52666 or I’m doing something wrong?

one or more IAPs? you certainly picked the right type (for your 215 that is)? have you looked at the logs?

I'm using the upgrade process from web interface and no one IAPS were upgraded. There is nothing into the logs. Regarding the image version since the first process was using web interface where the image is checked and selected automatically I don't see any error there. The second try where I upload imagem manually I got from General Availability (Current) under Aruba Instant and selected Centaurus for IAP-215s.

It seems like you are downgrading.  Is that what you want to do?  6.4.2.6-4.1.1.11_52666 is the last GA version but 6.4.2.3-4.1.2.1_49445 is an early deployment version.  That is a downgrade.  Again...is that what you want to do?

 I just want to run on the last version imagem. GUI interface was showing "there is new version 6.4.2.6-4.1.1.11_52666." so I accepet the upgrade and after reboot the system is back to previous version so I've tried download it manually and sent via GUI and got the same problem. Please, where I should get 6.4.2.6-4.1.1.11_52666?

This is the last version and the same one indicated as avaiable via GUI but the upgrade didn't go well. It looks like we're locked into 6.4.2.3-4.1.2.1_49445. Please take a look on evidences attached.

Logs indicatted upgrade was fine due all IAP got the new version and rebooted but the system is still on previous version.

Can you type "show image version" so we can see what is on both partitions?
