IAP-225 Stuck in 10 minute reboot loop

    Posted Dec 25, 2019 06:32 PM

I am attempting to setup and configure an iap-225.

The AP keeps rebooting, and is not stable because of the constant rebooting. The reboot cause is "Image Download Failed".

I have factory reset the AP via CLI (by interupting boot process) and via the gui. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated!

What device is at 10.251.2.101 in your network?

I'm currently running this at home on a /24

    192.168.0.x

Even after defaulting the AP - it still reaches out to that IP address to download.

Did you purchase that AP used?  It almost seems like it was used for Aruba Central in the past and it is tied to Aruba Central.  Try to type "show log system" to see if it connects to central.

Yes. We utilize Campus style Aruba Aps at work, and I wanted to enjoy the same benefits at home.
