IAP-92 and MC3190

    Problem: WiFi network of IAP-92 (7 units), implemented in warehouse of corrugated packages, ,sometimes lost a roaming possibility with MC-3190 handhelds, all 6 units in the warehouse. The problem goes on from some hours to some days and disappears without restarting, reconfiguric etc. Some suggestions?

    HI,

     

    Here we need to look at the Radio. IAP 92 are single radio APs. If ARM is enabled, it will play around changing the band based on the interference. work around is, disable ARM and select 2.5 GHz band manually and see how it works.

     

    If the issue is still persisting advice you to open a ticket wilt TAC.

    It was done, but situation was even worser. 

    Maybe You know some MC3190 issues ir complains? Maybe some specifics in handheld configuration? Or access points should be replaced with another model?

    Then I would suggest you to open a ticket with TAC.
