Hello all...
I am aware of the 1024 device limit and 65 IAP per cluster limit, but what is the user experience for the 1025 device, does it just not connect?
Thanks,
Randy

Hello! RBL!
The limits are updated
The suggested new limit with the new firmwares its 2000 devices, which is not a hard limit...
There isnt a limit as well on ap in a cluster but as far one of the SEs told me that he has seem 128 - 150 and more IAP
Takae in mind that if you are gong to have soo many IAPs try using as master something like a IAP 225 or at least an IAP 135 which has better hardware...
SDRAM memory FLASH memory CPU RAP-3WN(P) 128MB 16MB AR9344 560MHz IAP-104/105 128MB 16MB AR7161 680MHz IAP-114/115 256MB 32MB AR9550 700MHz IAP-134/135 256MB 16MB 88F6560 1.6GHz Single Core IAP-224/225 512MB 32MB P1020 800MHz Dual Core
I copy you a table of the hardware of the IAPS.
Guess if you are afraid of putting all in a cluster you can always do L3 roaming between clusters.
The limit of the IAP 93 is still there... so if you put one IAP 93 it will lock your cluster to 16 APS... and the limit of users i bealive with an iap 93 is still 256
Hope that helps
Cheers

The latest best-practice recommendations for cluster sizes are:
92/93: 16 APs and 256 users. There is a hard limit on the AP count but not on the user count.
All other platforms: 128APs and 2048 users, there is no hard limit on either
