IAP3 can send PIN to its 3G usb ?

    Hello.

    We are using regularly 3G usb pen on IAP and RAP. Some people though, prefer not to disable the PIN of the USIM card.

    So..I'm wondering if there is any way to have Instant (or RAP) send the PIN code to its local 3G usb pen in order to unlock it. Cannot find any place where this is described but neither denied.

    Alex,

     

    If you are manually setting the usb-init stiring, you may include the CPIN=<PIN> in your init string like:

     

    usb-init "AT+CPIN=27822;+CGDCONT=1,\"IP\",\"internet\""

    In this example, the PIN 27822 is set to the SIM card.. This CPIN parameter may not work on all 3G dongles, but you can give it a try.
