Do Instant APs run 802.11k + r? I can't seem to find it in the GUI. Perhaps this is something that I'd need to setup via CLi? Would love a detailed response on this if possible.

    Thank you!

802.11r is supported in version 4 and can be configured on the security tab for the wireless network underneath key management.

You can also configure it via the CLI :

    InstantAccessPoint) (config)# wlan ssid-profile <name>

    (InstantAccessPoint) (SSIDProfile<name>)# dot11r

    (InstantAccessPoint) (config)# end

    (InstantAccessPoint)# commit apply

I'm not 100% on this, but I don't think 802.11k is support yet on Instant.

Yea, I can't believe that K isn't addressed anywhere on an Instant. This is a pretty big deal for me and need to find out. I have an IAP 105 and have been digging into it but I can't find it anywhere!

Anyone from Aruba able to comment on this?

    Thanks!

Ryan, ClientMatch honors 802.11k.  ClientMatch is on the IAP as of 4.0.

Taken from our internal wiki: If the client is 802.11k capable, controller uses actual beacon reports from 802.11k clients to make roaming decisions.

    Does this help?

    Rog,

Sorry for the delayed response, but yes this does partially help. But the big question is whether or not ClientMatch requires 802.11k to work correctly. What does your internal wiki say about that?
