    Instant blocks Amazon Echo / Alexa from detecting smarthome devices (e.g., Nest, NuHeat, Insteon) on the network via UPnP. I have everything possibly allowed by default under "services" (e.g., AirGroup) but still no luck. Alexa works just fine on my backup wifi AP (netgear), on the same network, so it has to be something the RAP155 is doing. Can anyone please recommend a fix or suggest how to escalate this to Aruba?

    Do you have AirGroup enabled?

    Do you have mDNS, DIAL, Googlecast and DLNA enabled?

    I think so. I appear to have everything enabled. I even created a group jkm with any blocked services i saw in console earlier

    - Disable Airgroup

    - Make sure Broadcast Filter is disabled on the SSID for the devices AND the phone.

    Hello CJoseph and thanks for the reply. 

     

    I made the changes in the configuration but after I did that we no longer saw the Apple Devices on the network and could not connect to them. 

     

    Why would I turn off AirGroup though? Isn't that the setting that users need to talk to the Aple Devices?
