Instant end of life ?

Hi all,

I usually install IAP but it seems IAP is no more produced.

Am I right ?

Thanks

Re: Instant end of life ?

Correct. New AP models have gone to a Universal mode, so that they can detect whether being installed in an Instant or Mobility Controller environment and react accordingly. This simplifies the order skus, and makes it easier for customers who wanted to buy IAP but then needed to manually convert them to Campus (controller-based) mode.

Ok thanks, so it seems we do not have 2 different part numbers for AP and IAP ?

Re: Instant end of life ?

No IAPs are very much still supported. No indication of the platform being discontinued as this is very popular in SMB, K-12, etc...
