Just wondering, if there's a way a client can bypass the blacklist procedure and not get blocked off the network even if it fails the password many times?

We are using Radius Server and soon going on Clearpass.

    Thanks for your help!

It depends on what is doing the blacklisting.  What is enforcing the blacklist?

3 Failed authentication will force the client to blacklist for 1 hour.

You cannot make a user an exception to the rule, but you can change the rule to shorten the blacklist time (decrease the authentication failure blacklist timer parameter), or disable blacklisting (unchecking Station Blacklisting) in  the Virtual AP profile.blacklist.png

    Thanks.

    I think I'll create a new VAP.
