Just put up 3 IAP-105's and users are getting periods of no connectivity.

    All 3 -105's are configured with the newest firmware. Simple set-up, brought the first one online and created a SSID, gave it a static IP and WPA2 passphrase, set the admin user and password, set it for "Employee," then brought the other 2 online and they came up and got the config. I assigned both of them static IP's. This is a WLAN separate from our corporate LAN, all 3 are connected to a switch which in turn is connected to a Comcast Business Internet router/"modem." What we see is users getting maximum signal from the AP's, but randomly losing connectivity. Continuous pings to the "inside" IP of the AP's and also to the Comcast modem show lost of dropped packets/timeouts. Any suggestions?

    What other devices are on the subnet with those wireless clients?

    Thanks for the question. It's a dedicated network for the WLAN. The only wired devices are the Comcast modem, the 3 AP-105's, and the switch, which is in an unconfigured state (IOW, acting like a "dumb switch").

    Can you make sure that there are no errors on the switchports that the access point is plugged in on?  How many clients do you have on that WLAN?  Can those clients see any other access points in that area?

    Switch seems to be error-free. There are 9 devices configures at this point, 6 of which are connected to one AP105, 2 connected to another, and 1 connected to the third. There are no other WAP's lit up. You can walk through the building and get  5 of 5 or 4 of 4 bars, depending on the client, throughout, with only a quick "blip" when one AP passes off to the next.

    Just noticed there is new firmware since I lit these up last week. I guess that might be a step in the right direction.

    Let do the following ping test to see the losing connectivity is in wireless side or wired side:

    1. client ping AP's addres continously;

    2. AP ping internet address continuously,

    3. client ping internet address continuously

    Compare the ping result, we can know which part maybe have issue. Then we do further troubleshooting.

    I was already running those ping tests with a lot of dropped packets from the client to the AP's and the router. After updating to the new firmware that was released on the 18th, everything has cleared up. Thanks for your input.
