    I just racked a new 7030 and compelted the initial configuration. After a reboot it wouldnt take my password so i just did a quick factory wipe. Now after the initial configuration is done and a reboot i keep getting

     

     Ancillary files are not present
    *********************************************************************
    * WARNING: An additional image upgrade is required to complete the *
    * installation of the AP and WebUI files. Please upgrade the boot *
    * partition again and reload the controller. *
    *********************************************************************

     

    Can anyone point me to a help topic or answer this for me please.

     

    What do i need to do.

    Im not sure this solves my problem. I can boot all the way up and login now but this message still shows.

     

    What are the "ancillary files" its asking for.

    i didnt upgrade anything. This is right out of the box. its the initial install

    I've also had to factory reset a new 7210 controller. What is the exact CLI to upgrade partition? The controller is not yet network connected, so I am CLI only unless the Web GUI will work without this partition upgrade.

    With a 7210 use a thumbdrive, put a folder on it called Arubaimage, put the image in that folder.  Put it in the front usb port and use the front panel to upgrade the image.

    Try booting from the other partition then upgrade like cjoseph is possible there might an issue with current the controller is running:
    boot system partition 0 or 1
