    Hi,

we have one Instant RAP 109 and one RAP105. The 109 is connected to the network by wire, the 105 is in meshed mode. Is there any way to monitor the "meshing performance" (don´t know how to name it better)? Means: How much bandwidth do I loose due to the meshing/the distance between the ap´s?

Is there any general guideline about how much bandwidth I can expect between two meshed nodes?

    Best

    Tim

You lose 1/2 of your performance for each hop.  Just like wireless, you can only expect half of the mesh negotitated link data rate, tops.  After that, overhead, interference and retries push down your performance.
