    We are planning on implementing Aruba Instant APs in a company's (4) different branches as space and number of users is small.

    Their main concern is that they need to have same SSID across all different branches in a way that when a user is once connected to the SSID in any branch, they will be connected to the same SSID in the second branch without requiring to re-enter password.

    How can this be configured within Aruba IAP?

    If you are using 802.1x the supplicant automatically logs the user in..

    Dear Joseph,

     

    They currently utilize PSK authentication.

    Hi, 

     

    You need to create SSID with same name for all those 4 locations with same psk.

    Using Airwave / Central or Local Management?

    It will be through AirWave or Aruba Central.

    Hi,

     

    You can push config to IAP from Airwave or Aruba Central both.

     

    For  Aruba Central  you need to purchase Aruba Central Device Management Subscription .

     

    If you want to use Aruba Airwave then you need to purchase per device license .

    So it's just a matter of pushing the config and it should work even with PSK authentication?

    Hi,

    As SSID name and psk are same so you dont require to make any changes at client devices if they move from one location to other.
