Send syslog from VC address in IAP network

  • 1.  Send syslog from VC address in IAP network

    I configured syslog for a particular IAP baste network, but my syslog server monitors the VC address and as such expects the syslog traffic to come from this address.  I'm seeing syslog traffic at the firewall but the source address is the individual IAPs.  Any way around this?

    The VC already has an IP address configured.  The issue is that syslog is still sent from the IAP IP address, and not the VC address.  Our APs currently have DHCP addresses so this isn't a workable solution.

    Yeah, this would be nice if the syslog messages would be send by the vc!


    But i also haven't found a solution yet.  I think this would be a feature request.

    It should give i feature like "dynamic proxy" for radius authentication.

     

    It's very unsatisfying if you have 400+ folders on your syslog server for every ap.
