Re: Troubleshooting options.

can you please explain me how to do that..

Re: Troubleshooting options.

Very stimple :) Contact your ISP,Check with them how much you consume from your WAN bandwith.

OR - install 3rd party router/GW monitor and check how much traffic is going to your WAN side.

Re: Troubleshooting options.

SumaN a ping test what? we can't read your mind. did you do this before the slowness started also? perhaps it has always been like this.

if you want people to help you and work with please explain clearly and fully what you are doing.

so just some thing to think about, you mention slowness for all users since a few days. how did you determine this, have you actually seen data or are the users just saying it is slow.

is the wireless traffic to the internet go over the same router / internet uplink as the wired?

go on location and perform some simple tests. i.e. a speedtest via the wireless network and via the wired network. make sure you are only wired or wireless. browser the internet and see if you experience this slowness. you can see if a browser plugin or F12 to see if there is more slowness. this can be tricky because it might be the site or the connection.

Re: Troubleshooting options.

Thanks boneyard for your response.

below is the list what i did to spot the actual issue..

i pinged the default gateway and vc [ from a device which was connected wirelessly]  and shocked the avg response is around  150ms

also i pinged the gateway and vc from a wired connected device and the avg response was only 2ms.

they have MPLS [100mbps, so no question about wan side issue] and all was working fine on wired.

Before that the never faced that issue. and there wireless was extremly fast. [IAP 225]

So i confirmed that the issue is on wireless, after that i found that they was suffering from interference issue.

So today i went there and disable some of the unused SSID, increased the immunity level, and made that wide channel bands as none.

Now the things are looking good.
