We have a school with 25 Instant APs. The cluster is a mix of AP-105s and four AP-135s.

I've tried several times to upgrade but I get the following error:

I used TFTP to upload the latest updates:

And ideas? I've opened a ticket with TAC, but they have't been able to resolve the issue.

And if the upload failed why do the APs have to reboot?

    Help.

Welll maybe it might be a bug

I would try to disconnnect the 135 APS and just upgrade the 105s to see if it works... if it works well then you will have to separetely upgrade the 135? the idea is that when you upgrading they just can see 105 and when you upgrade the 135 they just can see the 135 to see if it work that way?

Already done that. We were n 3.2 beta in Novemeber to resolve some issues we were having. When the official release came out we tried to upgrade and had this issue.

I had to update the 105s and 135s separately.

When the newest release just came out I tried to upgrade to confirm what TAC had said said that It was a bug in the beta.

    Now, here wee are. Again.

    • You checked that TFTP (69) is opened in your lan/wan/fw environment?
    • Are your iap's units connected via mesh to each other (in 5ghz) ?

There is nothing blocking and ports at all on the VLAN. And we are not using mesh. All APs are wired. :-(
