    Hi,

Have just upgrade an Instant site to this version and now I can't access the GUI.  I am going via another box and port forwarded to port 443.  Initially it throw up the certificate error message, I click continue and then nothing.

Has something changed in this version?  Is it something similar to the controllers when you connect via https and then it uses port 4343 ?

    Access via ssh is fine.

    Please help.

    ok, got it.

changing to port 4343 is exactly what happens.  Change the port forwarding to send to 4343 instead of 443.

    Phewww

    :-)

I have this exact problem after upgrading.. cant log into the GUI.. getting browser not optimized error.. I can access SSH and IP via the GUI.  Where is this port forwarding setting?

the port fowarding would only affect you if you get to your IAP via a tunnel or such which doesnt forward port 4343. it isn't a setting on the IAP.

if you access you IAP normally then this has no effect on you, you just loggin via http://ip:4343/

getting a browser not optimized error would point to something else, are you using an old or very new browser version? could you show a screenshot of the eror?

weird, and on ip it works? and with a different vendor; firefox, chrome, ...?

as it is two systems the chance is small but as often with Aruba web gui try clearing cache and try again.

yep, that's correct.  It is a customers site and I access by port forwarding through a management server.

I see that error message sometimes as well when I use IE.  Using firefox works fine.
