    Hello, i would like to ask. Can IAP-92 deployed as virtual controller manage AP-387?

     

    What are the requirements for IAP cluster?

    Hi, this would not work due to the age of the APs and firmware requirements.AP-387 requires a minimum firmware of AOS/InstantOS 8.4  An AP-92 will support a maximum of ArubaOS 8.2 or Instant 4.1.

     

    The AP-387 is a Unified AP so therefore can be managed by Virtual Controller (Instant) mode without the need for an AP-92.

    IAP-92 won’t be able to manage the 387 since the last supported released on the IAP-92 was Instant 4.1 and the 387 starts at InstantOS 8.4
