    Hey airheads,

I have some question about the mobility controller license,

If i have 2 Virtual MC, with Mobility master.

    thats mean its work activ-activ.

how many lic should i take? (MC-VA XXX(controller XX AP E-LTU)

Should i take 1 lic for each controller or i can take just 1?

Of course this is a case where one of the MC falls..

    Thank you!

    Hi Ben,

The You need as many MC-VA lics, as many AP's those virtual controllers should handle.

If you need to terminate 100 AP's on those virtual Controllers (I would recommend to run them in a cluster) you need 100 LIC-AP (and LIC-PEF and LIC-RFP as well if needed) and MC-VA 100 and at least 102 MM licenses for 100 AP's + 2 VMC's.

Does it make sense for you?

    Hey Florian,

First thank you for your fast response.
It’s make sense but be sure I understood.
    If I have 2 controllers and 100 Ap’s
It’s mean that I need just 100 lic and not 200 if I have MM
    Right?

yes, this is correct. If you have a Mobility Master, the MM will serve as a license server and will provide only needed licenses to controllers. and one AP can only be active on one controller, even if it can have connections to two controllers (for redundancy). so yes, if you have 100AP's you only need 100 times LIC-AP.
