Wake On LAN w/ Aruba Instant

    Are there any specific configuration settings that need to exist on the Aruba Instants to support Wake On LAN? We have a customer trying to communicate with stations over the Aruba WLAN but the stations will not come out of their inactive state when they are first engaged. Apparently the NIC cards do support wake on lan and the stations communicate fine while in an online/active state.

    Do you have any broadcast filters on your SSID? My understanding is that wake on lan or "magic packet" is a broadcast packet. If you have any broadcast filters or optimisations on your SSID then this may cause issues.

    Broadcast Filtering and optimizations are disabled on the SSID.
