WiFi Uplink for IAP-325

I'm currently failing to set up a WiFi uplink with an IAP-325. After some while I noticed this hint in the documentation:

The Wi-Fi uplink is supported on all the IAP models, except for the 802.11ac AP models (IAP-2xx Series access points). However only the master IAP uses this uplink. The Wi-Fi allows uplink to open, PSK-CCMP, and PSK-TKIP SSIDs.

What does this mean for the IAP-325? Does it support WiFi uplink?

WiFi uplink is not supported on 802.11ac access points.

is this subject to change at some stage or just how it is going to be?
