copy Airwave users/roles to another

    Hi,

     

    We're running 8 Airwave servers and create new users with a default password that they change.  To do this over 8 servers is painful to say the least.  Is it possible to copy the user db file between servers to sync all the accounts?

    It is possible to export/import the uid & password, but it is not efficient over a number of servers.


    As an alternative, can you enable either Radius or TACACS authentication and have your existing AAA servers auth the users in question? Would simplify things for you as the AAA infrastrurture already exists and you'd then not need to worry about replicating across the server base.

    Thanks!  Yes, we're hopefully going to setup an external auth server later.  I know it might not be efficient, but can you explain how to export/import the uid & password?  It will help for the time being.
