Hello, I have an IAP 105 and it currently has firmware:

    6.4.2.3-4.1.1.2_48114

I tried looking for a firmware update by clicking the check for update button and it says no response from server.  This device is just working by it's self and there are no filtering or real firewalls on it.  I'm not concnered if there is really a new firmware or not but that it is not checking properly it would seem.

    Staylor130,

You could be running into the "Expired Certificate Issue".  The only resolution is to upgrade the IAP manually.  Please PM me your email address and AP model and I will send you 4.1.1.7

Sorry, forgot to reply to this.

I had mentioned my model in the comments and I was sent a PM'd link to the latest firmware.

Thank you, my misinterpretation. I took your statement to mean that there was another way to resolve. I PM'd cjoseph and am already up to date and all is working now.

I am having this issue too on my IAP134/IAP135. How can I go about getting a firmware for these?

I also have a problem with the automatic update of my IAP-105 with firmware version 6.4.2.3-4.1.1.2_48114

It gives a "received no response from server"

Can you send me a link to manually download the latest firmware and update my IAP's?

    Thanks.

    HI,

I'm having the same problem with 5 brand new IAPs (Model 103 though). All good in the UI, just won't update firmware.

Could you send me the firmware-files manually also please??

    Thanks.

    /A

Do you have a login for the support site to download updates?

The solution for me was to manually get to the next version.

Also make sure your firewall/content filter isn't restricting the main AP, it's marked with a star by its name in the last. I have also had times where I had to exempt that IP, not the proxy IP so it could search for updates.

In my original case they were Dell branded Aruba IAPs
Is that the same for your case or are you running Aruba Firmware?

    Okay

What you want for Aruba Direct software is here:
    http://support.arubanetworks.com/LifetimeWarrantySoftware/tabid/121/Default.aspx

In the mean time I also looked in my history and for anyone that has/had dell branded units:
    https://download.dell-pcw.com/Default.aspx?TabId=56&returnurl=%2fDownloadSoftware%2ftabid%2f75%2fDMXModule%2f510%2fCommand%2fCore_Download%2fDefault.aspx%3fEntryId%3d7919
(the link is probably longer than it needs to be but it will point you in the right place.)
