    What may cause Template to be applied on IAP devices under a group that is monitor only?!

    (enabling iap GUI support? editing the template and saving it?)

     

    Please advise.

     I want to understand what is the best method to work with a diffrent iap barnches that needed config update / addon - is it better to do it via template? even due each site need is own nas-ip , or the Instant gui config via airwave is better?

     

    I read all the doc regarding airwave and iAP and yet..didnt was able to understand what cause the template to make changes on iap under that group even due it's monitor only group :( (AW 8.0.6.3)

    Found the reason.
    When u enabling instantconfig on a bulk of instants its choosing one of them as golden config ..and its applying to all other instants... Even when the devices are on monitor only..
