Aruba 3810M as a ToR

Hello All,

would  just like to know if an Aruba 3810M 16SFP+ (with 16 x 10GbE SFP+ ports) can be used as a ToR (Top of Rack) for a purpose of connecting just 02 servers.

Thanks

IMHO Yes it would be very good as ToR...consider that the Aruba 3810M switch series shows very good absolute performance [*] (...not too far from a chassis type like the Aruba 5400R zl2)...you can also stack it using the Backplane Stacking approach if you want (the only caveat is that you can't perform hitless updates because clustered nodes will reboot at the very same time...not stepped).

[*] see here for reference (Datasheet and QuickSpecs).
