Change Time format AM/PM to 24h

Hello,

 

I have a "HPE 2530-24G-PoEP Switch (J9773A)".

 

How can I setup time and date from AM/PM to 24h time format?

You can enter the clock in 24HR if needed.

 

HP-2530-8G-PoEP(config)# clock datetime 13:00:00 03/24/2020
13:00:00 GMT +00:00 Tue Mar 24 2020

Also if I sync time via ntp time server?

 

I do this so far:

 

configure

time daylight-time-rule western-europe

time timezone 60

ntp server 192.168.0.254 iburst

ip dns server-address priority 1 8.8.8.8
ip dns server-address priority 2 8.8.4.4

ntp server-name 0.pool.ntp.org iburst
ntp server-name 1.pool.ntp.org iburst
ntp server-name 2.pool.ntp.org iburst

ntp unicast
ntp enable
write memory

show time
show ntp status

Configuration looks good, the output of 'show ntp status' will advise if there is any issues. Keep an eye on the 'Synchronization Status' for more info.

Okay but it still has this layout in Web GUI

Are those logs from before or after implementing the change?

The screen is from after

 

It still has AM/PM and US Date format

I see the same here, CLI is 24h format, but US dates (M/D/YY), UI has 12h AM/PM.

 

It seems to me that there is no configuration possible on how to display the date and time in the UI.

 

Do you work for a partner? If so, can you open a request in the Aruba Innovation Zone?

Otherwise, can you ask your partner or local Aruba SE to do the same?

 

Please share the idea number so others having the same request can 'upvote' the feature.
