MACsec on 3810 Series

According to the datasheets the 3810 Series Switches support MACsec on the Access-Interfaces as well as on some uplink-modules.

Are the asics of the switch macsec capable, or is macsec done in software?

Its defined in the asics far as i known.

To my knowledge this is done in hardware.
