IAP 103 - new SSID
08-20-2018 12:01 PM
I need to create a new network using new IAPs-103-RW, but I already have some IAP in the company connected.
When I try configurated the new 3 IAPs in a new SSID and connect on the network, they bring the configuration from another IAP.
I don't want them to use the settings already installed and those that are not using the settings that I will do.

an IAP when placed in the same layer 2 subnet as the first IAPs will always get the configuration of those access points.
You can try changing the parameter here: https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/Instant_83_WebHelp/Web_Help_Index.htm#Instant_CLI/allow-new-aps.htm to NO in the original cluster, and see if you can bring up new access points on the same layer 2 network as a separate cluster.
